''All these pictures are from my early childhood. They feature a family, who were like a family to us .Mum was fresh from England ,they taught her Greek, she taught the girls English. She has never forgotten them even if it was some ,sixty years ago. Quite by chance we got in touch on Facebook, tears were shed I can tell you. This is for you Maro Katakalides,Rea Varvaris, Yiota Theofanus,Fanis Patsalides,Aris Georghiou,Gogos,the late lovely Aphrodite,and Fanis. If I've left anyone our apologies.'' Aris Michaelides
